A chance to shop from locally owned Black vendors is returning to Niagara College on Thursday, October 17.
Black Owned 905 will host a pop-up market from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. near the cafeteria at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Vendors will sell a variety of locally produced goods including jewelry, clothing, candles, pantry goods, tumblers and skincare. The event is being organized by the NC Student Administrative Council (NCSAC) in partnership with Community Relations and Events and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
Black Owned 905 is designed to support and uplift black-owned businesses in Niagara and surrounding areas. They regularly host markets to showcase and support black entrepreneurs.
NC first welcomed the pop-up market to the Welland Campus this past February during Black History Month. The College looks forward to hosting Black Owned 905 and participating vendors again this month.
Please consider dropping by the Daniel J. Patterson Campus on Oct. 17 to support these entrepreneurs!
