Niagara College’s Therapeutic Recreation Activity Collective, known as nc-TRAC, is excited to unveil a new round of programing for students starting this October.

Students participate in a nc-TRAC event.
Located at Niagara College’s Welland Campus, with programming offered across both the Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake campuses, nc-TRAC provides students with meaningful resources and therapeutic recreation activities to promote physical, social, cognitive, spiritual, and emotional health. Rooted in several pillars, nc-TRAC delivers programming through its dedicated Centre in the Merritt Wing, across campuses, in classrooms, and within the broader community. The Centre offers registered programs, special events, and serves as a drop-in space for guided relaxation, meditation, or quiet time in the sensory rooms. Students can also enjoy a variety of activities such as board games, crochet, and arts and crafts. nc-TRAC provides a welcoming, stress-free environment where students can take a break from academics and make the most of their leisure time.

Mandala Colouring
At the nc-TRAC Centre, students can discover their own leisure interests and engage in meaningful activities designed for their needs. Most importantly, students are encouraged to develop friendships and make connections with other students through nc-TRAC activities.
Programing changes each week and includes activities such as mandala colouring, sensory room drop-in times, relaxation stations and more. Both drop-in and scheduled programming is available to all students.
Located in the Merritt Wing, in Room M102, nc TRAC is open Monday to Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
