On August 20, Giant FM aired a segment with NC professor Peter ‘Dutch’ VandenBerg about the team of students and alumni behind the worldwide broadcast of the World Rowing Championships.
According to VandenBerg, a point of pride for the Broadcasting, Radio, Television and Film Production program is that it’s like a family.
“There’s always been this built-in mentorship in the program of a first-year looking at a second-year and a second-year looking at a third-year and saying, ‘Oh, I want to be them,” said Vandenberg.
