A message from David Atherton, Dean, Academic and Liberal Studies

It is with mixed emotions that I announce the retirement of Beth Bracken, who will be retiring on June 30, 2024 after 25 years with Niagara College.

On behalf of our division, and the entire NC community, I would like to thank Beth for her invaluable leadership as a math faculty member, a coordinator, and most recently as the Associate Dean of Academic Studies at the Welland Campus. Throughout her career at NC, Beth has been a passionate educator and tireless advocate for quality education. Her contributions on various college and provincial committees have been invaluable, and her leadership has left a lasting impact on our college. Beth’s unwavering commitment to program quality and student experience has set a high standard for both teaching and administration. Her dedication and contributions in her various roles over the years have been instrumental in enriching the lives of our students.

As Beth embarks on her well-deserved retirement, she looks forward to spending quality time with her family and relaxing at her cottage. While we will miss her presence on campus, we are excited for her as she begins this new chapter.

Please join me in wishing Beth all the best in her retirement and future endeavours.
