Pelham Today: Indigenous students celebrated at awards banquet

On June 10, Pelham Today shared NC’s release about its first-ever Indigenous Student Awards Banquet, where Dr. Phyllis Webstad, founder of the Orange Shirt Society and a third-generation residential school survivor spoke of her family’s history in the residential school system and upcoming Orange Shirt Society projects.

The event was a celebration of the outstanding achievements of Indigenous students at the College.
