Message from Scott Slaney, Director of Global Business Development:

I am thrilled to share that Madison Smith has accepted the position of Manager, Global Engagement Communications.

Madison began her journey with Niagara College in 2018 as a Marketing Associate, Communications within the International Division, later ascending to the role of Global Communications and Engagement Coordinator by 2022.

Throughout her time at the college, she has been diligently supporting the International Division, playing a pivotal role in its communication and marketing efforts. Her contributions have been instrumental in raising awareness of the Division’s impactful initiatives both across the college and around the world.

Madison’s dedication to education extends well beyond her role at Niagara College. In 2022, she earned a Master of Arts in Leadership from the University of Guelph. Furthermore, Madison has volunteered at the Lincoln Pelham Public Library since 2003, completing a four-year tenure on the Library’s Board of Trustees in 2022. During this time, she contributed to governance and strategic initiatives, including a successful merger.

Madison is now eager to lead our Global Communications and Engagement team in supporting the college’s communications strategies and to bring awareness of Niagara College and its initiatives to local and global communities.
