Meet your FMS team!

A message from the FMS Management Team:

World Facilities Management (FM) Day on May 8 is a chance to celebrate the important contributions and achievements of FM teams and the positive impact the profession has here at Niagara College.

On World FM Day, take a moment to acknowledge the behind-the-scenes heroes of our built environment and share a well-deserved thanks for keeping our facilities healthy, safe and productive.

Behind the scenes, our staff perform a wide variety of functions that you may not know about. They include answering calls for service, responding to inquiries (facility related and not), event planning and setup, coordination of moves, keeping the heat and a/c on to ensure user comfort, repairs to plumbing, floors, walls, electrical and lighting, keeping the grass mowed and ensuring the landscape and campuses are inviting spaces which a leave lasting impression of NC.

When you walk into a room and the lights work and the space is comfortable and safe, it is because of this group. Twenty-four hours, seven days a week, the team responds to any building or site concerns to ensure safe learning spaces for all students and employees.

If you see our team around, be sure to thank them for all they do.

Keep up the good work!
