CKTB interviewed NC’s Artisan Distilling graduates Elisa Lavigna and Mitchell Bouwsema (Artisan Distilling program, 2023) to discuss their recently announced win at the 2024 Canadian Artisan Spirit Competition last summer, their spirit creations and their current professional careers after completing their studies at NC.
During the segment, the host emphasizes, “I love the fact that you’re both in the distilling or fermentation space, it speaks volumes about Niagara College and what Niagara College is able to do. There were 7 medals at the competition that were won by the Teaching Distillery…and it shows you the talent of the instruction and also the talent of the students that are coming through Niagara College.”
