The Sarnia Observer announced that NC Horticulture Professor Paul Zammit will be speaking in Watford on May 1. His address titled The Power of Horticulture: Local and Global Possibilities will deal with themes including climate-change anxiety, gardening as therapy, adapting gardens for hotter and drier weather and how local actions can make a difference in a global context.
Zammit it quoted in the article: “One of the things I try to emphasize is more about function than beauty. Over the past eight or so years, there has been more of (a focus on) horticulture from an environmental standpoint.”
