A reminder that NC students and employees are invited to participate in a presentation by the Niagara Transgender Action Coalition (NTAC) and partnering local organizations to learn about local efforts and initiatives supporting trans communities within the Niagara Region.

Ahead of Trans Day of Visibility on March 31, the event is co-hosted by the NC Rainbow Knights, Community Relations, and Human Resources and aims to amplify trans voices and inspire all of us at NC to explore ways we can contribute to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for trans communities.

The presentation will be held in a hybrid format on March 28 from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. Participants attending in person are welcome to join in Room N018 at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake. A Zoom link will be sent to virtual attendees prior to the event.

To register, click here. Please note, registration will close on Thursday, March 27 at 4 p.m.

Participating local organizations include:
• Niagara Transgender Action Coalition
• Niagara Reproductive Justice
• OPIRG Brock
• Brock Pride
• PFLAG Niagara
• Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre
• Queer Kid Bible Camp

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to support trans students and colleagues and leave the session with ideas on recognizing and celebrating Trans Day of Visibility.
