Learn about the connection between the nervous system and stress management at March 28 LEAD workshop

Students and employees are invited to register for a free workshop on Thursday, March 28 with Melanie DiPaola, yoga instructor and founder of the Zen Collective.

The workshop – Nervous System Regulation to Understand Stress Management – is being hosted by NC Student Engagement through the Leadership Exploration and Development (LEAD) program.

Workshop description:
Refining some key techniques from the expertise of Yoga, Reiki and Sound Healing, you will learn practical tools to execute in your day to day life. Your nervous system is how you sense, navigate and cope with every stressor and delight in your life. You will learn how to develop an awareness of it, along with a variety of productive, simple coping strategies.

The in-person session is being offered at both campuses on March 28 at the following times and locations:

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Welland Campus, room SA208
2:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Daniel J. Patterson Campus in NOTL, Wellness Lounge
