On February 12, the NOTL Local, Thorold Today, NationTalk and BioLinc reported on an upcoming initiative to honour missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people involving hanging red dresses on display.
Organized by NC, Brock University’s Vice-Provost, Indigenous Engagement, the Hadiya’dagénhahs First Nations, Métis and Inuit Student Centre, the initiative will see dresses hung at NC and Brock’s campuses from Monday, Feb. 12 to Friday, Feb. 16.
