More than 2,000 new students began their studies at the Welland Campus and Daniel J. Patterson Campus when Niagara College’s Winter term kicked off on January 8.

Engagement leaders assist students at the Welland Campus on Orientation Day, January 5
To help prepare incoming students for college life and the start of classes, a variety of Orientation programming has been underway since late Fall, including Pre-Orientation sessions in November and December, Prep Week from Jan. 2-4 and Orientation Day on Jan. 5.
Additional orientation activities and exciting social events are also on the roster during the first week of classes – ‘Frost Week’ – and continuing into January to help provide both new and returning students with a positive start to the term.
Organized by the Athletics and Student Engagement department, the NC Student Administrative Council (NCSAC), and the International division, many of the offerings provide opportunities for all students to meet new friends and have fun on and off campus.
