NC athletics/athletes were mentioned several times in the Niagara dailies’ (St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune) 2023 Niagara sports in review, January to March edition.
The review highlights that NC won its first national medal in curling, soccer player Sydney Sica won women’s athlete of the year, women’s curling coach Bryant Karner won coach of the year, Natasha Desjardins was named a first-team all-star at the Ontario women’s college volleyball championship, Nick Lemieux and Claire Randell earned the silver in mixed doubles in Curling, and more.
