On October 27, the NOTL Local and Pelham Today reported that the Niagara Region partnered with Niagara College, Brock University, and the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority to host the 2023 Niagara Climate Change Summit.

President Sean Kennedy is quoted in the article: “Niagara College is a proud supporter of the Climate Change Summit and the sustainability efforts happening across the region through the Niagara Climate Change Action Network. We have a shared commitment to local climate change action and the transition to a low carbon economy, and the Summit is an important forum for those discussions.”
