Niagara College will celebrate 1,600 graduating students this fall by hosting Fall 2023 Convocation ceremonies on October 26 and October 27 at the Welland Campus.
Employees are welcome and encouraged to attend the ceremonies in-person or virtually. View the ceremony schedule and access the livestreamed events on NC’s convocation website.
Employees are also encouraged to share congratulatory messages on social media using the dedicated convocation hashtag #NCGrad2023. Public posts, along with likes, comments and reactions will appear on screen during the in-person ceremony and will be incorporated into the livestream.
Reserved seating will be available for all employees who attend this year’s celebrations in support of our graduates. Please ask Enrolment Services staff for directions to this seating area when you arrive. They will have a VIP/Accessible seating table set up to the right in the Simplii Financial Athletic Centre (gymnasium) at the Welland Campus, (Convocation Auditorium) prior to each ceremony.

Parking
Parking lots A and C at the Welland Campus will be closed to daily parking (reserved for convocation ceremonies) on October 26 and 27.The south entrance off of First Avenue will also be closed from October 26 at 8 a.m. until October 27 around 6 p.m. To view a map of parking lots at the Welland Campus, visit www.niagaracollege.ca/campussafety/parkingservices/lots/

Gym
The Simplii Financial Athletic Centre (Welland Campus gymnasium) will be closed for the entire week (October 23-27) to accommodate convocation ceremonies, as well as Niagara Day.
Fitness Centre
The Fitness Centre at the Welland Campus will be closed on October 26 and October 27.
Learning Commons
The Welland Campus Learning Commons will be unavailable from October 25 to October 27. The library will remain open.
Enrolment Services
The Enrolment Services office at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake will be closed on October 26 and October 27.
The office at the Welland Campus will remain open, with limited staffing.
