A July 20 article in the three Niagara dailies (the St. Catharines Standard, Welland Tribune and Niagara Falls Review) announced that a group of 10 students from the NC’s Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management Diploma program won five medals and the top title of Grand National Champion at the 2023 U.S. Open College Beer Championship.
The final-term students won a medal for each of their beers: two golds, two silvers and a bronze.
