A new food venture from Niagara College’s Student Administrative Council (NCSAC) is serving up the perfect combination of bites, blends and brews to students, employees and visitors.
Earlier this summer, NCSAC officially started operating the food truck located at the Wine Visitor + Education Centre at NC’s Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The stationary truck – known simply as “The Food Truck” – is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offers a selection of tasty items to enjoy for lunch, a light dinner or a snack. Features include Whipped Brie (with NC honey), Warm Olives, Asian Noodle Salad, Charcuterie Boards (vegetarian option available), Beer Mustard Sausage, Deluxe Grilled Cheese, pizzas, sliders, a daily special and more.
The menu was developed in collaboration with the Teaching Brewery and Teaching Winery, who expertly paired every item with a suggested NC student-made beer and wine.

Food truck guests can find seating on the winery patio where they can place their order from winery staff. There is no ordering directly at the physical truck.
NCSAC can accommodate charcuterie boxes and packed lunches for grab and go, and the truck is also set up to take on catering orders and to host events.
“This venture is exciting for us as it provides another opportunity to create a delicious food option for students at NC, and the numerous visitors to the region throughout the summer,” said Danny Cvetanovic, NCSAC Operations Manager. “Given the location, we can now host more unique events and catering options, too.”
“We invite all staff, students, and community members to visit The Food Truck! This truck is being driven by NC students, and we encourage you to jump on board!” added Cvetanovic, referring to the student staff who are working in the truck throughout the season.
All profits from sales will go directly back to NCSAC to help fund initiatives that benefit students.
