A Message from Pam Skinner, Senior Vice-President, College Operations:
Following the restructuring of the Facilities Management Services division in support of NC’s long-term vision, and a robust recruitment process, I am delighted to announce that Nadeen Shehaiber will be joining Niagara College as the Senior Director of Planning, Sustainability and Capital Projects (PSCP).
Nadeen is currently the Manager of Capital at the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board, responsible for the planning and management of a capital plan valued at over $100 million across 100 facilities. Over the past five years, Nadeen has overseen the planning, development and opening of seven elementary schools and two secondary schools, and over $32 million in capital renewal annually.
Nadeen’s public sector experience includes working closely with the Ministry of Education, various municipalities, Board of Trustees, councillors and Infrastructure Ontario. Her private sector experience includes work as a Project Manager with MHPM (Colliers).
Nadeen holds a Master of Engineering and Public Policy and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from McMaster University. She also holds a Diploma in Architectural Technology from Sheridan College. Nadeen is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and Green Associate (GA).
Nadeen teaches courses on Project Management and Vendor Management at the University of Guelph, and her passion for education is a great fit for NC.
