To celebrate Black History Month, NCSAC’s Afro-Caribbean Association of Niagara College in partnership with the International Division are hosting the Black History Month Party.
The Afro-Caribbean Association of Niagara College is a club for and by people of African and Caribbean heritage. Travelling far away from home and coming into Canada with little or no social or family support, this club serves as a way to help African and Caribbean students integrate into the College.
The February 24 event will be held at The Core (Welland Campus) and will include a Jamaican and Nigerian dinner menu, a fashion show and live music by DJ DeeBoy.
Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and close at 1 a.m. Bus transportation will also be available at the end of the night to the Daniel J. Patterson Campus, St. Catharines Bus Terminal and Niagara Falls – Morrison/Dorchester Hub.
Student tickets are being sold for $20 and guest tickets are $25. All tickets must be purchased in advance, up to two days before the event – with tickets available while supplies last.
