Niagara Falls Review: NC partakes in partnership to help address staff shortage in Indigenous-led child care

On December 21, the three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard and Welland Tribune) released an article about a new pilot program being offered at the Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre to help facilitate the training of Indigenous early childhood educators for First Nations communities.

The article highlights the partnership between Niagara College, Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre, Six Nations Polytechnic and Niagara Region Children’s services and includes a quote from Dean of Community Services, Justice and Fitness Studies, Carol Phillips.
