Niagara College President Sean Kennedy.

As we approach our NC Holiday Celebration on December 13th, I hope you will join me and the Executive Team to ring in the holiday season together in the courtyard at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake from 3 to 5 p.m. Register for the event via the link circulated through CampusNotice.

One of the things I most look forward to at each year’s Holiday Celebration is the culmination of our United Way Workplace Campaign. It is joyful to celebrate with our partners at United Way Niagara as we announce the giving total raised by our amazing NC community. This year, as the United Way Niagara’s Community Campaign Chair, I am particularly excited to celebrate with you, as I know that together, better is possible for so many in our communities who are in need.

As you know, our NC goal for this year is $50,000 and I am confident that with your support and participation in the campaign, we can reach our target. Our NC Cares committee has been working diligently to coordinate our campaign this year, and one of our shared goals is to increase the number of NC employees who donate to the campaign. We know we can do more and I want to encourage you to please give, if you are able, to provide much-needed support and assistance to Niagara’s most vulnerable.

Our annual workplace campaign is a source of pride for our NC community. Our collective impact helps to further the reach of the United Way by strengthening its critical connection to local agencies that provide essential, and often life-changing, programs to individuals, children and families in need. There is still time to contribute to our campaign – any amount makes a difference – and I encourage you to consider a gift today.

Thank you in advance for your support of our communities.
