An October 6 article in the three Niagara Dailies and Niagara This Week features the opening of the Saundra Patterson Memorial Garden at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The garden honours the memory of NC’s long-time ‘first lady’ Saundra Patterson – the devoted partner of NC President Emeritus Dan Patterson – and was created by students and faculty from NC’s School of Horticulture and Environment and staff from the Teaching Greenhouse.
The article includes comments from NC President Sean Kennedy, President Emeritus Patterson and Amanda Saulnier, a second year Greenhouse Technician student who worked on the garden.
