A message from President Sean Kennedy:
Dear Team NC,
On behalf of the Executive Team and the Strategic Planning team, it is with great excitement that I invite you to join us for a virtual presentation of the College’s new 2022-2027 Strategic Plan on April 21 at 10:30 a.m. via Zoom.
On February 17, Niagara College’s Board of Governors approved the 2022-2027 Strategic Plan, supporting a clear, achievable and ambitious vision of who we are at NC and where our journey will take us over the next five years. The new plan will serve as the bedrock for our future as Canada’s leading global college in a pivotal time for society and a competitive post-secondary landscape.
This plan was developed from invaluable input and innovative ideas from all our stakeholders – our staff and faculty who drive the remarkable organizational culture at NC, our students and alumni, and our local and global partners from industry, government, and the community. The plan represents our collective vision after more than a year of dreaming big, and it serves as our guide as we write the next chapter of our NC story.
All employees are encouraged to join the one-hour Zoom presentation, which will include messages from NC Board of Governors Chair Wendy Wing and NCSAC President Sam Jemison.
The presentation will highlight key elements of the strategic plan and provide an important foundation for Day of Reflection when we will explore the areas of priority more deeply, as well as how our own work can put the plan into action.
I am proud of what we have achieved together, and I look forward to sharing the new Strategic Plan with all of you on April 21.
