On April 6, Education News Canada shared NC’s release announcing $4.43 million in funding from the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
Through the investment, NC has been awarded three new Applied Research and Technology Partnership (ARTP) funding grants from NSERC’s College and Community Innovation (CCI) program. The first will support a NC project in sustainable cannabis and hemp production research, while two others will fund NC-led projects to support craft breweries in Canada, and expand the Southern Ontario Network for Advanced Manufacturing Innovation (SONAMI).
The release includes comments from Marc Nantel, NC’s Vice President of Research and External Relations, Kimberley Cathline, Research Program Manager of NC’s AETIC, Lyndon Ashton, Centre Manager of the CFWI Innovation Centre, and Kithio Mwanzia, SONAMI Network Manager.
