On March 11, Food Service and Hospitality wrote about NC Teaching Brewery’s Pink Boots collaboration beer, which was brewed over a two-day period by students from NC’s Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program on Mar. 8-9, aligning with International Women’s Day. The global initiative was launched by the Pink Boots Society to support women and raise their profile in the beer industry.
NC’s 2022 Pink Boots Brew is a 6.5 per cent ABV Double IPA made with a special blend from Yakima Chief Hops, a partner of Pink Boots. Hops will donate $3 from every pound sold to Pink Boots Society for education and programming.
