On November 16, The Niagara Independent wrote an article about Niagara’s post-secondary institutions and their successful Fall terms with the 2022 Winter term approaching in January.
The piece highlights NC’s positive response to its mandatory vaccination policy, mentioning that the policy will remain in place for the Winter term. In the article, NC’s Corporate Communications Manager Michael Wales comments, “By all measures our Fall term has been a success, with more students having the opportunity for on-campus, in-person learning; a safe learning environment and workplace with no incidents of COVID transmission on campus.”
The piece also notes that all of NC’s programs will have at least some on-campus learning components during the Winter term and Wales explains how NC will continue to monitor the pandemic and public health guidelines, and “increase or enhance on-campus services and activities where it is safe to do so and permitted within the province’s re-opening framework.”
