Several fundraisers for the NC Cares United Way Workplace Campaign are underway, with plenty of options for employees to show their support and get a head start on their holiday shopping.
Holiday Cookbook fundraiser
Calling all cooking enthusiasts! Submit your favourite family recipes to be featured in the 2021 NC Holiday Cookbook. Simply fill out the online form on the NC Cares website with your recipes by November 12.
Cookbooks will be available for purchase soon (date, cost to come) with proceeds supporting NC’s United Way workplace campaign. A great gifting option this holiday season!
Big Box of Cards fundraiser
The NC Cares United Way campaign committee is collecting orders for a Big Box of Cards fundraiser with proceeds supporting United Way Niagara. You can purchase an ‘All Occasions’ box and/or a ‘Birthday’ box of cards, with each box containing 33 beautiful cards for only $33 (inclusive). Orders will be taken until November 15 and available in time for holiday gifting!

Gift Card fundraiser
NC’s United Way committee and NCSAC are also teaming up to raise funds for two important causes – United Way Niagara and Nourishing Minds.
Until November 30, you can purchase a gift card at The Shack (Welland Campus) or The Undergrounds (Daniel J. Patterson Campus). Choose the amount you’d like to load on the card and funds will be split equally between United Way Niagara and Nourishing Minds.
With every gift card purchase, you will receive the full dollar amount, one-time complimentary coffee or tea and an Undergrounds travel cup.
Make a donation
In addition to organized fundraisers, online donations are being accepted any time throughout the campaign period, which runs until mid-December.
