With more than 100,000 alumni around the world, Niagara College success stories abound – and you won’t want to miss the latest features in NC’s digital encore magazine.

Visit the newly refreshed homepage of encore this fall and discover a myriad of new My Alumni articles sure to boost your NC pride. Some of the latest new additions include:

  • NC’s 2021 Premier’s Awards nominees and profiles highlighting our seven individual nominees such as Monique Belair (Law and Security Administration, 1985), Lora Tisi (Fashion Arts, 1979), and Aaron Foster (Culinary Management Co-op, 2003) – with new articles to be added each week until the award ceremony on November 18;
  • Jason Ofield (Business – Sales and Marketing, 2005) and his rise to the top of the bulk food chain as CEO of Bulk Barn Canada;
  • Indigenous Elder Dave Labbé (Electronic Engineering Technologist, 1971) and his journey from student to teacher;
  • CFWI alumna Erica Karbelnik (2011) who devoured the competition on Top Chef Canada, when she competed alongside her husband – and fellow NC alum – Josh (2011);
  • Broadcasting alumna (2012) Amy Audibert‘s professional slam dunk as a new member of the Toronto Raptors broadcasting team;
  • CFWI alumni and Niagara restaurant owners Selah Schmoll and Ray Syegco,(2017 and 2014) who were recently named to the Top 30 under Thirty Awards; and
  • Evan Hadley (Horticulture Technician, 2018) who launched Grumpy Greens urban farm for a happier planet.

After 11 years of print editions, digital encore debuted in February 2021 as a one-stop shop for the College community – from alumni, to donors, to stakeholders and friends, in Niagara and beyond.
