NC’s associate director of Athletics and Recreation commended efforts to construct a new outdoor sports park at the Welland International Flatwater Centre. The park will feature basketball, pickleball, tennis and volleyball courts, as well as a yoga area and splash pad.
O’Keefe is quoted: “The Empire Outdoor Multi-Purpose Sports Facility will be an amazing place for the youth of Welland to play. We are very fortunate to have this incredible collaboration with the City of Welland, Empire Communities and Jumpstart investing in Welland.”
