As the end of the winter term approaches, NC is once again administering course feedback surveys – an opportunity for students to provide honest, constructive feedback about the quality of their courses.

Organized and administered by the Centre for Academic Excellence (CAE), our end-of-term Course Feedback Surveys are vital to the ongoing success of Niagara College but are only useful if they are accurate and representative of the wider student body. Higher participation rates increase the validity of the results, meaning it’s critical that students complete them.

The surveys are open until April 26. Please share the importance of completing these surveys with your students and encourage your students to complete their course surveys and, if possible, allow for time in class to complete them.

Students, faculty and staff can login to Blackboard, click the MyBlackboard tab, and find all their course surveys hyperlinked in the MyCoursEval section. The software can be accessed on any computer or mobile device.

The Centre for Academic Excellence has a website with resources and information for staff, faculty and students including the importance of the feedback gathered through the surveys. Accessible at www.niagaracollege.ca/coursefeedback, the site houses videos, FAQs and resources for students to better understand how their input is used, as well as tips and tools for faculty to help facilitate student participation.
