Bernie Puchalski with BPSN wrote about NC alumnus Mike Rao (Business Administration – Industrial Management, 1980), who has been named by the City of St. Catharines as the 2020 St. Catharines Sportsperson of the Year. Rao, a Welland native, is a retired teacher and long-time coach of the Notre Dame senior boys basketball team. Currently, he is the head coach of the Brock women’s basketball team.
