A partnership between Niagara College, Seneca College and the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland, with support from the Mastercard Foundation and Colleges & Institutes Canada, to support the Young Africa Works in Kenya – Youth Employability Through Technical and Vocation Education and Training (TVET) program made the news on April 1.
The program aims to create work opportunities for young people in Kenya in five sectors including manufacturing, affordable housing, universal health, food security and digital technology. NC, along with the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland, will provide expertise on gender issues, curriculum development and training.
