As the holiday season approaches, I wanted to advise you on behalf of the Executive Team that the College’s holiday closure will run from December 24 to January 3, inclusive. Normal college operations will resume on January 4, 2021.
I am extremely proud of the extraordinary work of our College community in 2020, a year unlike any other in the College’s history. While the holiday closure typically begins the afternoon of December 24, I am pleased to begin the holiday closure a bit earlier this year in recognition of the tremendous efforts of our faculty and staff as we have worked to meet the challenges of a global pandemic.
Those employees whose positions require them to be on duty December 24 will receive a full day in lieu, to be scheduled in consultation with your supervisor.
Thank you for your ongoing hard work and dedication in support of our students. I hope you will have an opportunity over the break to rest and recharge. Best wishes for the conclusion of a successful Fall term.
