NC’s Teaching Brewery continues to make the local news for its silver accolade at the Canadian Brewing Awards – an award earned for its Beer 101 Bock, a traditional German-style beer.
In this Niagara Dailies article, which also appeared in the Thorold News, College brewmaster Jon Downing is quoted. He mentions that the beer was brewed in early March the week before the College closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which allowed the beer to age for several months true to its bock style.
