On September 2, Newstalk 610 CKTB’s Shelby Knox reported that the Lake Erie – Niagara Monitoring Hub is resuming its testing of the recreational water quality at three locations along the North Shore – Gravelly Bay, Waverley Beach, and Lorraine Bay – for the second year in a row after a delay due to COVID-19.
The hub was established by Swim Drink Fish and the Niagara Coastal Community Collaborative with support from NC and provides additional testing to the regular water quality testing conducted by Niagara Region Public Health.
