A Niagara College alumnus was mentioned in this August 14 news article from BradfordToday.ca about Rondo Bistro & Café in downtown Bradford. Ivan Ziurkalov is the café’s head chef whose unique food and drink creations include a changing pastry of the day and off-the-wall drinks like the “deathly hollows tea” that changes colour.
Ziurkalov, a 23-year-old graduate of NC’s Culinary Skills program (2017) joined the café after the pandemic struck. Café manager, Lanni Frolov, hopes that Ziurkalov’s unconventional creations will attract customers to the establishment since it reopened on July 10 after being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
