Niagara Dailies: Niagara College releases School Spirits Rum; latest spirit crafted by program

On June 30, the Niagara Dailies and Niagara This Week shared news about Niagara College Teaching Distillery’s first-ever rum release. ‘School Spirits Small Batch Rum’ was created by NC’s inaugural Artisan Distilling Class of 2019, comprised of the first students to graduate from the program that launched in September 2018 as the first of its kind in Canada.

David Dickson, NC’s distiller, and Steve Gill, general manager of NC’s Learning Enterprises, are quoted in the article, both applauding the students for their achievement in crafting NC’s inaugural rum.
