Newstalk 610 CKTB shared the news of NC’s efforts to support health care workers, via the Niagara Health Foundation, in the fight against COVID-19 in our community.
The story outlines the personal protective equipment – numbering over 30,000 items – donated from across College divisions, efforts by staff in Research and Innovation to produce 7,000 face shields using laser-cutting technology, and 70 per cent alcohol sanitizer produced by staff at NC’s Teaching Distillery, the only one of it’s kind in Canada.
