Kris Dubé with The Welland Tribune wrote about how schools in Niagara are adapting to online learning amid COVID-19.
The story includes commentary from Steve Hudson, senior vice-president of academic and learner services at Niagara College, who outlines how well faculty and staff have transitioned to leveraging online learning tools during extraordinary times.
Hudson says, “Our faculty and academic staff have done a remarkable job moving to online and alternative delivery in a very short period of time. It’s certainly reflective of the innovative spirit and commitment to student success that all of us at Niagara College share… We know this is a very challenging time for students, and our service areas have also done a masterful job of moving the services that students rely on to online or virtual delivery as well — everything from libraries and admissions to tutoring and advising.
