Niagara College launches new online chat for current, future students

Enrolment Services and Student Recruitment launched NC Live Chat on April 1, 2020.

With COVID-19 changing the face of daily operations at Niagara College, Enrolment Services and Marketing and Student Recruitment teams launched a new Live Chat function via the NC website on April 1 to serve current and future students with questions.

The NC Live Chat is staffed by representatives from Enrolment Services and Student Recruitment Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students, both current and future, can connect with NC staff on questions regarding transcripts and payments, programs and admissions, general inquiries about College operations, and more.

“We’ve seen high web traffic in the past two weeks with the transition to online learning, and the new NC Live Chat is one more way to meet the needs of current and future Niagara College students as we all practice social and physical distancing,” said Shelley Panetta, interim director, Marketing and Student Recruitment.

Outside the live chat hours, visitors to the website can fill out their name, email and a brief message through the website, and a representative will get back to them shortly.
