News from the NC Teaching Brewery was picked up by Education News Canada in time for International Women’s Day on Sunday, March 8. Staff, students and local brewers from Niagara gathered to brew a collaborative beer to show their support for women in brewing, and to raise funds to help broaden education opportunities in NC’s Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program.
The International Women’s Day Collaboration Brew Day initiative is part of an initiative from the Pink Boots Society to raise the profile of women’s roles in the beer industry, as a fundraiser for educational scholarships.
