A message from Information Technology Services:
On Friday, January 31 beginning at 5 p.m. there will be scheduled maintenance on Niagara College’s telephone system impacting the Welland Campus and residences at both campuses. Maintenance will be staggered as follows and is expected to be complete by 11 p.m:
- From 5 to 7 p.m., the blue light emergency phones and analog fax machines at the Niagara-on-the-Lake residence will be unavailable.
- From 7 to 9 p.m., the blue light emergency phones and analog fax machines at the Welland residence will be unavailable.
- From 9 to 11 p.m., the blue light emergency phones and analog fax machines at the Welland campus will be unavailable, as will incoming calls to 905-735-2111. Alternatively, callers can reach the College via 905-641-2252. Outgoing calls are not impacted.
During the outage period, Campus Security can be reached by phone at 905-735-8383 or via the Mobile Safety App.
This telephone maintenance was scheduled after hours on Friday in an effort to minimize the impact on the College community.
