Cogeco’s YourTV produced a segment on the Boys and Girls Club of Niagara who were on the receiving end of some Christmas giving thanks in part to Niagara College.
The video shows NC’s Canadian Food and Wine Institute (CFWI) team preparing Christmas dinner for the Boys and Girls Club Niagara, and features interviews with chef manager Alex White and Sarah Scott, manager, Dining Operations. Staff and students prepared the holiday feast for over 200 children, a four-year tradition for the College.
White says the students are enthusiastic about preparing the holiday meal and giving back to the community, and Scott explains that the event is an emotional and heartwarming one, as students can see the joy that the event brings to local children.
