Niagara Now writer Britney Baker-Pittendrigh covered the Oct. 29 opening of the Marilyn I. Walker Centre of Excellence in Visual Arts & Technology at NC’s Welland Campus. Walker was a Canadian artist, author, teacher and philanthropist, and an avid supporter of the arts.
Baker-Pittendrigh quotes NC President Dan Patterson who said, “to have Marilyn anchor Niagara College is truly an incredible story, how she discovered the college, how she loved the college and how she wanted to leave a legacy.”
