On October 25, Newstalk 610 CKTB reported on NC’s Fall Convocation ceremonies, the final convocation for long-standing College President Dan Patterson. A total of approximately 1,300 graduates crossed the stage at the Welland Campus, each shaking the hand of President Patterson who is NC’s longest-serving President.
Earlier coverage focused on the special designations granted by the College to accomplished individuals, including Centennial College Past-President Ann Buller who received an Honourary Bachelor of Applied Studies for her leadership role in postsecondary education, Leadership Niagara Executive Director Shane Malcolm who received a Distinguished Alumni award, and founder of Hospitality Fallsview Holdings Vince DiCosimo recognized with an Honorary Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Studies.
