Convocation is the highlight of the academic year at Niagara College and 2019 Fall Convocation will celebrate 1,300 new graduates in two ceremonies to be held at the Welland Campus in the gymnasium on Friday, October 25. A reception will follow the 10 a.m. and 3 p.m ceremonies in the Learning Commons.
Please note the following closures and revised schedules will be in effect to accommodate convocation ceremonies during this time.
Parking
On October 25, parking lots A, B and C at the Welland Campus will be reserved for Convocation and unavailable for staff parking. To view a map of parking lots at the Welland Campus, visit niagaracollege.ca/parking-services/parking-lots/.
Athletics
The Welland Campus gymnasium and fitness centre will be closed on October 25 to accommodate convocation ceremonies.
Enrolment Services
Enrolment Services staff members from the Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake campuses will be dedicated to convocation duties on October 25. The NOTL Campus Enrolment Services office will be closed during this time, while the Welland Campus office in Secord 106 will remain open, operating with limited service.

Library/ Learning Commons
Receptions will be held in the Learning Commons following each convocation ceremony. Please note that the library will remain open for regular hours during convocation week.
The Core/ the Shack
The Core will be closed during convocation.
The Shack will be open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. with intermittent closures during convocation processions (from about 9:15 to 10 a.m.).
Food Services
Convocation ceremonies will not impact food services.
