Luke Edwards with The St. Catharines Standard penned this piece entitled, “Computer whizzes and farmers unite in Beamsville” about Niagara’s first Agritech Hackathon, a competition where participants were challenged to develop innovative ideas on issues facing the agrifood and ecotourism industries.
Of 15 teams, three NC students, Emanuelle Atsain, Carey Satin, and Chris Dardarian, placed second in the Post-secondary to professional category for their pitch.
