Education News Canada shared NC’s release about recent graduates from the Ecosystem Restoration (Graduate Certificate) program who are getting a jump-start on their careers. Twenty-seven alumni are becoming Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioners-in-Training (CERPITs), thanks to a new partnership between the college and the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER).
According to program coordinator Jen Lyndall, the certification can help students “differentiate themselves from other candidates during job searches, but more importantly they gain access to technical information and a network of hundreds of other CERPs and CERPITs from all over the world.”
