After 34 years at Niagara College, Julie Manning is retiring.
After graduating from NC’s Bilingual Secretary program in 1985, Julie began working as a secretary in the French Services Department in Hennepin Hall. A few months later, Julie moved to a new bilingual youth program called Youth Services (Service a la Jeunesse) located on Division street in Welland.
Since then, Julie’s 34-year career has been dedicated to supporting the college’s employment programs, under various names and funders. Throughout the years, Julie has coordinated several office moves, from Division Street, to Huggins Street, to the Maid of the Mist Campus, to 1 St. Paul and finally, to 43 Church Street. As the face of Employment Services for many years, Julie provided a warm and welcoming environment to all clients.
Julie’s future plans include spending time with family, travelling the globe and relaxing on the beaches of Mexico.
